Ktima Biblia Chora — Plagios White 2020

The wine from Ktima Biblia Chora with the chessboard pattern on the label (representing the diagonally moving bishop) is now made from 100% Chardonnay — Assyrtiko is no longer added in small amounts. Despite this, the wine definitely delivers plenty of acidity. The nose reveals exotic fruits. Even at this young age — still showing a touch of residual carbonation — the oak, unlike in some earlier vintages, is not intrusive at all but rather beautifully harmonious. This is a wine that captivates above all through its balance of fruit and minerality, with oak tones integrated very subtly as an elegant finishing touch. How wonderful that it already deserves a magnificent 93 points at such a young age. It's available from our partner shop for just €17.10.
