Ktima Biblia Chora — Plagios White 2018

This is the second bottle of the 2018 Plagios this year. The first, stored under very good conditions, only scored 87 points. This bottle was clearly better. Compared side by side with the Sani Grand Reserve, the Plagios is more complex and develops gradually in the mouth, while the Grand Reserve is a bit more upfront with more citrus. The Plagios shows unusual minerality for this wine and a long aftertaste. At 91 points, a very good showing — but the vintage seems to be maturing much quicker than other vintages of this wine.
