The Merlot Rosé from Oinotropai Estate, which was still marketed under the name ΡΟΕΣ in the 2020 vintage and rebranded as Ombre from 2022 onwards, delivers a remarkably consistent impression across vintages. It leans towards the spicy and herbal side, brings a solid dose of acidity and tannin, and demands food as a companion. A decidedly serious rosé. 90 points.
