Ktima Tselepos – Marmarias 2019

Marmarias 2019, Ktima Tselepos (PGI Arcadia) – Tasted as part of an exploration of renowned Greek Chardonnays, this single-vineyard, 100% Chardonnay from the Peloponnese was showing some signs of age, but it unveiled a round and balanced profile especially on the second and third day after opening. Alongside the Idisma Drios 2021 from Wine Art Estate and the Palpo 2022 from Kir-Yianni, it held its own as a serious Greek Chardonnay. Truly, it deserved its excellent 90 points.
