Ktima Kalogri — Mister Helios 2020

We loved this wine last year. Pure cheese! We would have given it 93 points (which it eventually did receive in September 2022) but the rest of the team did not agree at the time. What would one year do? A lot. Gone is that exuberant cheesy character. Interestingly, vanilla and caramel dominate now. Personally, I prefer the rosé version more — for me it is a prototypical Moschofilero, allowing the variety to shine best. But interestingly, with more age this white wine was now more popular with the team as a whole, and the wine secured 92 points.
