The Plagios rot 2014 from Ktima Biblia Chora was tasted as part of a vertical alongside the 2012 and 2013 vintages, as well as the single-varietal Etos Merlot 2006 from the same estate. In early 2022, it had received 94 points at a previous tasting. In this comparative session, it became clear that it possesses better aging potential than the 2013 – hence a slight upgrade to 94+ points. The prediction is that by 2025 it will be sitting at 95–96 points. It's even conceivable that this vintage will outlive the Etos 2006. Two or even three full decades are well within its reach before it begins its downward journey.

Tasted: October 2022
