Ktima Biblia Chora — Etos Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

The Etos 2008 from Ktima Biblia Chora — a pure varietal Cabernet Sauvignon — was tracked down on the Greek secondary market and turned out to be a real find for a Cabernet Sauvignon tasting. The wine shone even more brightly than its counterpart from 2006 (the pure varietal Merlot Etos, whose tasting note is still pending) and scored 95 points. While the legendary Trilogia 2012 by Christos Kokkalis, also tasted in the same session, didn't dazzle as hoped, the Etos 2008 demonstrated that Greek Cabernet Sauvignon can hold its own at the very highest level.
