Domaine Economou — Antigone 2004
PDO Sitia
80% Liatiko, 20% Mandilaria
Crete, Greece
Red | dry
Drinking window: 2024–2034
The Domaine Economou Antigone 2004 (PDO Sitia, 80% Liatiko, 20% Mandilaria) is a true legend. Silky, complex, and simply magnificent. In the glass, light garnet with amber reflections. Complex aromas of dried cherries, figs, Mediterranean herbs, leather, and a hint of vanilla. Appears younger than the Mirabello 2015 from the same estate. On the palate, a revelation: from the very first millisecond, aromas, acidity, sweetness, and incredibly polished tannins unite in perfect harmony. Powerful, elegant, and unforgettable. Rated at 97 points.
