Vietti — Barolo 2019

Vietti's Barolo Castiglione is always excellent value for money, and the 2019 vintage is no exception. Not the best vintage I've had of this wine, but still great paired with dry-aged steak. Salty, long finish. The tannins still need three to four years to round off. A reliably enjoyable Barolo that earns 93+ points. Worth noting: there is serious Greek competition in this price range, but this Nebbiolo holds its own on the Christmas dinner table.
