Skoumpris Winery – Flevaris 2021

Located north of the Peloponnese, in the PGI Evia, the Flevaris from Skoumpris Winery immediately strikes you with its play that drifts toward sweetness at 13%. You certainly don't think of Mantinia anymore – the closest comparison would be the Kalderimi from Panagiotopoulos Wines – but the whole thing is pretty damn good. An excellent 90 points, and you can happily drink the bottle to the last drop. With a bit of age, there should be even more in here – not in fill level, but in points.
