Para…kopois — Nissou Methi weiß 2019

A wine (70% Serfiotiko, 30% Roditis [Fox]) that hits the nose above all with loads of minerality. The closest identifiable notes are dried citrus zest.

On the palate, there's plenty of texture — 13.5% alcohol, after all — and quite assertive tannins accompanied by matching resinous aromas that linger long on the finish. A wine that neither impresses with great drinkability nor enormous complexity, but one that has a very distinct character, deserving a very good 87 points.
