Mikra Thira — Santorini Assyrtiko 2021

The Santorini Assyrtiko 2021 from Mikra Thira was vinified in stainless steel and spent four months on the lees. Fermentation temperature was between 16°C and 18°C, alcohol at 13.9%. On the nose, it shows hints of lemon, basil, and mint. On the palate, it's refreshing with a touch of salty, chalky tannins — perfectly balanced with good acidity. You simply get a bit of everything here! Especially for the difficult 2021 vintage, this is a truly impressive result: 94 points. The wine also made it onto the list of the 50 Great Greek Wines.
