Domaine Paliomylos — Paliomilos Red 2018

Ktima Paliomilos, founded in 2012 in Myrsini, Ilia on the Peloponnese (and later expanding to Folegandros in the Cyclades), produces this heritage blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The 2018 vintage was a difficult one, and it shows — this is a very light wine with unusual acidity as a result. That said, the oak is well integrated and the aftertaste is impressively long. A very good effort from a challenging year, earning 88 points.
