Ktima Dyio Ipsi — Dialogos White 2021

Ktima Dyio Ipsi Dialogos White 2021, a blend of Assyrtiko and Kydonitsa from grapes grown in Ilia on the Peloponnese. I tasted this as part of a small session of Greek white blends, where each wine shared at least one variety with the next. Coming after the Ktima Paliomilos Sauvignon Blanc–Assyrtiko blend from Drama (2019, 12% alcohol), the Dialogos showed very good acidity even though it has significantly more alcohol at 13.5%. A lot of yellow fruit on the nose and palate, and very good texture. All in all an excellent wine that earns 91 points. Like the other wines in this tasting, it offers remarkable value for money at around ten euros.
