Ktima Biblia Chora — Sole Vidiano 2020

PGI Pangeon
92% Vidiano, 8% Assyrtiko
Macedonia, Greece
White | dry
13.5% | Organic

The Sole Vidiano from Biblia Chora takes us to northern Greece. It's not quite as 'sole' as the name suggests, since it contains a small proportion of Assyrtiko (8%). The 2020 was particularly convincing with its elegant aromatics. On the palate, a dynamic flavor experience unfolds, with vibrant acidity accompanying notes of peach and apricot. The grape typically associated with Santorini lends the creamy, stone-fruit-driven Vidiano additional freshness and mineral depth. Pure apricot notes merge with citrus peel aromas to create a lively, multi-layered taste experience. The 13.5% alcohol — by no means negligible — is perfectly integrated and supports the wine's various flavor phases. A wine that stays with you. 93 points!
