Ktima Biblia Chora — Sole Semillon 2017

The 2017 Sole Sémillon from Ktima Biblia Chora, a blend of 85% Sémillon and 15% Gewürztraminer from the Pangeon region of Macedonia, is a fantastic wine — one of the best sweet wines from Greece that is not made from Assyrtiko. At 96 points, it more than earns its place among the country's finest dessert bottlings. It was wonderful paired with chocolate from Alain Ducasse with dried fruits, a combination that brought out the wine's richness beautifully.
