Ktima Biblia Chora / Ktima Gerovassiliou for Sani Resort – Land of Grace 2018

The Land of Grace 2018, produced by Ktima Biblia Chora and Ktima Gerovassiliou for the Sani Resort, was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Each variety is apparent: first Merlot as black olive, then Cabernet Sauvignon with cassis, then finally the Syrah with blueberry and a bit of smokiness. However, the blend does not quite come together – it is not at all reminiscent of the monovarietal wines from these two wineries. There is a slight touch of unripeness. Not as good as the Grand Reserve (either red or white) from the same session. 86 points.
