Kotoulas – Red Rhapsody 2019

The 2019 Red Rhapsody from Kotoulas pairs 65% Xinomavro with 35% Syrah. After 12 months in 250-litre French oak barrels, the wine shows less pronounced Xinomavro characteristics on the nose during a systematic Xinomavro exploration. Robust tannins and a somewhat rigid structure suggest it needs more time for full integration, while the Syrah contributes welcome richness. 88 points.
