Domaine Menexes — Menexes Blend 2019

The Menexes Blend 2019 from Domaine Menexes (also known as Kipriotakis Winery) is a Cretan red produced under the PGI Kreta appellation, combining 35% Syrah, 35% Merlot, and 30% Kotsifali. The blend is dominated by dark berry notes with a smooth, rounded palate. The 14% ABV are perfectly integrated, never showing any heat. Just a tad more structure would make this even more amazing. It's drinking well now and doesn't need more aging — a wine that delivers immediate pleasure and earns 93 points.
