Efrosini Winery – Mikri Evgeniki Liatiko 2018

The Mikri Evgeniki Liatiko 2018 from Efrosini (PDO Dafnes) already shows a lot of orange reflexes in the colour – typical for this wine. At five years of age, this is a fully matured Liatiko. Plums and raisins in the nose. Nine out of ten wine drinkers will bet this is a sweet wine. And boy, it tastes sweet! 15.5% alcohol, that's not nothing – it's reminiscent of a subtle Amarone. But the tannins are much softer, and it drinks well even at higher temperatures. Not for everyone, but some will love this style. 89 points.
