Domaine Hatzimichalis — Syrah Drisbay 2018

The Syrah Drisbay 2018 from Domaine Hatzimichalis (PGI Atalanti) was locked in a tight head-to-head race with the Syrah 2017 from Alpha Estate during the follow-up tastings of a larger Greek Syrah lineup. Flint and pepper are typical here. The cherry aromatics are rather unusual, though. But since they still lend the wine fruit even after days, the wine ultimately lands at an excellent 91 points.
