Domaine Costa Lazaridi – Château Julia Chardonnay 2021

The Chardonnay from Costas Lazaridis's Château Julia series (PGI Drama) is likely a far more crowd-pleasing representative than many another Greek Chardonnay. A wine that will satisfy practically every Chardonnay lover: fresh, straightforward, and bursting with fruit aromatics. Some found the acidity too sharp – a touch of malolactic fermentation might perhaps help the wine further. Either way, a clearly outstanding 90 points. The wine sits at 13.5% alcohol and was available in German retail at the time of tasting for €11.95.
