Dom Pérignon — Dom Pérignon 1990

The Dom Pérignon 1990 was opened in January 2022 for a birthday celebration and, at 96 points, proved to be the best sparkling wine of the entire year — never to be surpassed as the months went on. Compared to the Greek Prelude 2019 from Milia Riza (90 points), which was also tasted early in the year, the legendary Champagne was in a league of its own. A wine that set the bar for sparkling wines at an unreachable height that vintage.
