Dionysos Winery – Orizontes Rosé 2021
PGI Peloponnese
Agiorgitiko (50%), Syrah (50%)
Peloponnese, Greece
Rosé | dry
13%
The Orizontes Rosé from Dionysos Winery is a 50/50 blend of Agiorgitiko and Syrah. Very oxidative on the nose, quite bland on the palate. There is an aftertaste, with a little sweetness – but that’s about the only good thing about this wine. A significant step down from the Orizontes White, which earned 87 points. At 70 points, the weakest of the three Dionysos rosés I tasted in this session.
