Dionysos Winery – Orama White 2021

The white Orama 2021 from Dionysos Winery (PGI Peloponnese) has even a bit more Moschofilero, namely 80%. At 12.5%, we're back in more familiar territory here. And with Moschato as a blending partner, you really can't go wrong these days. The Moschofilero here tends more toward the fruity end of the spectrum, as there's plenty of exotic fruit character that buffers the floral contribution of the Moschato and provides a pleasant finish. A very solidly produced blend that, thanks to its astonishing staying power over many days, ultimately makes the leap to an excellent 89 points – even if you'd be better off reaching for other wines when it comes to spontaneously impressing guests.
