Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste — Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 1990

The Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 1990 was tasted in January 2022 at a birthday celebration, and it scored an admittedly somewhat disappointing 93 points. Expectations for this legendary wine had been higher. There may have been some bottle variation at play, though I've also read elsewhere that this once so celebrated wine is slowly beginning its downward trajectory. The hope remains to catch it in full bloom in the glass one more time.
