Boutari — Grand Reserve Naoussa 1987

Hopes were high that the 1987 Boutari Grand Reserve from PDO Naoussa might climb back into higher scoring territory. Sadly, it suffered from cork issues, even though the nose still offered clear dried fruit aromas before it disappointed on the palate. 84 points — and the end of an interesting, yet rarely pleasure-filled Naoussa tasting as part of a comprehensive Xinomavro exploration.
