Among the Avantis Estate wines in the lineup, the Princess stood out as the sole dessert wine, sitting comfortably between the estate's more straightforward Syrah "Classic" 2020 and the fruit-heavy Collection 2019. At 91 points, it delivers a convincing balance of sweetness and freshness that makes it an appealing example of a Greek Syrah-based dessert wine.
