Aidarini — Rose 2021

Aidarini's 2021 Xinomavro Rosé from Macedonia is made from 100% Xinomavro at 14% alcohol. Much like the Aidarini Gris de Noir, this wine is quite intense on the nose, but the aromas are distinctly different: bold, ripe strawberry shines through both on the nose and the palate. The palate, too, sets it apart from the Gris de Noir. Despite its deep color, it lacks a bit of extract to fully support the structure. Still, it's an accessible and enjoyable rosé with vibrant fruit notes, earning a solid 88 points.
